Gallagher Security Compatible Cards & Fobs

Gallagher Security (New Zealand) produces a high-security access control ecosystem using proprietary Cardax IV 125 kHz credentials and AES-128 encrypted MIFARE DESFire EV2/EV3 smart cards — neither of which can be supplied by third parties. However, Gallagher Prox 125 kHz readers are documented to also accept standard Wiegand formats from other manufacturers, and American Key Cards can supply compatible standard 26-bit proximity cards for Gallagher installations where the reader is configured in multi-format Wiegand mode.
