Brivo Access Credentials Compatible Cards & Fobs
Brivo access control platforms support both their encrypted MIFARE DESFire EV3 Unified Credentials and standard 125 kHz proximity formats — AKC supplies compatible standard prox cards and fobs for Brivo-managed properties.
Brivo is a leading cloud-based access control platform used across residential and commercial properties, supporting a dual credential ecosystem: their proprietary 56-bit DESFire EV3 Unified Credential for maximum security and standard 26-bit proximity formats (HID, Schlage, AWID) for legacy compatibility. AKC supplies compatible standard prox cards for Brivo installations using legacy credential formats, with no ability to replicate Brivo's own encrypted Unified Credentials.

Our compatible Brivo Access Credentials credentials
American Key Cards manufactures non-OEM credentials engineered to work with your existing Brivo readers — no hardware changes, encoded to your facility code and card-number range.
Can Brivo Access Credentials cards be copied?
No. Brivo Access Credentials relies on secure encryption, so it cannot be cloned from an existing card. This is a security strength, not a limitation of our service.

What card formats does Brivo support?
Brivo supports a wide range of credentials including its proprietary 56-bit DESFire EV3 Unified Credential, standard 26-bit HID/AWID/Schlage proximity cards, HID iCLASS, and MIFARE. AKC supplies compatible standard 26-bit prox cards for Brivo systems.
Can I use standard HID prox cards with a Brivo system?
Yes — Brivo panels and readers accept standard 26-bit HID, Schlage, AWID, and similar 125 kHz proximity credentials. These are available from AKC at competitive pricing.
Are Brivo Unified Credentials cloneable?
No. Brivo's Unified Credential uses MIFARE DESFire EV3 with the LEAF file structure and is encrypted — it cannot be cloned. Standard 125 kHz prox cards used on Brivo systems can be cloned.
